People are being sent by western countries to Russia for the olympics because they are homosexual as part of the western protest against Russia's alleged anti-homosexual law. But there are no protests against Qatar, sharia law. But, Russia's anti-homosexual law does not say what the western media and politicians are saying is says. What it outlaws is promotion of homosexuality to children, which is practiced daily in western socialist countries through social engineering in schools. Western socialists can't admit Russia is protecting children from what they promote daily to children in western countries. See how corrupt western socialists are on so many different levels.

For her to boycott would be like black players boycotting Euro 2012 in protest of alleged racism in Ukraine. Racists and homophobes want to "cleanse" sport of people they don't approve of and the boycott is doing exactly that!
Personally I won't be watching a millisecond of these games (borr..ingg!) but I do like Clare and wish her well.

I am sure the huge fee she would have had to have turned down made no difference to her decision whatsoever.
We are always being told we need more women is this job or that job because they'll do it with greater dignity than men. Yeah, sure...
How about targeting islam on its gay stance then?

Yes , she was right to go. Sport is global and should not get mixed with politics. She was doing her job and deserves respect for what she did.

Clare Balding is a brilliant sports commentator, who is adept at describing many sports including horse racing. She is an asset to whichever TV company she commentates for. She is only doing her job at Sochi,
