the member has blocked u...!!! u cant sent a message to the member and cant find them 2..!!!! or it could be the settings of their profile privacy so that the dont get friend requests from unknown ppl...!!!

it all depends on that person's privacy settings, may be that person don't allow facebook search to find him/her, or may be he/she has changed their email address....
may be that person also changed his/her name...
multiple reasons.. i don't think so that, that person blocked you!
