There are ways to hide your breast and your baby sucking your breast so that it is not exposed to the public. Depending on where you are, there are women who would expose their breast and the baby's sucking and nobody would bother because it is something natural and not something dirty or pornographic like how deviated minded people think. The breasts' main function is to feed the baby and not as a decorative sexual weapon which some women use nowadays.

Well as many mothers would agree I am not going to let my child starve bc someone cant bare to see some skin. But yet they can watch tv sometimes from commercials etc and see more than what part of a mothers breast shows. I think ppl need to get over themselves..How do they think most babies have been fed for over 200 years or more. No I would not express it into a bucket.

I have breastfed in public before and i see nothing wrong with it...when your baby is hungry you feed it.
I did have a guy walk up to me and tell me i was discusting an should stop flashing and acting like a s!ut in public an take it in the bathroom so i said to him "When you go an eat your bigmac on the toilet is when i'll feed my baby in the bathroom you prick!"

When I am breastfeeding a baby (have bf all 3 of mine and will the new one coming in June), I feed them wherever we are - whenever it is. I have bf in McDonald's, the Mall, finer restaurants, the zoo, etc. I'm one of those who refuse to go to a special place to nurse my baby. I find it repulsive that some people want to suggest going to the bathroom to sit on the toilet to feed a baby. Who eats their supper off a toilet? Not me. So, my baby won't either. I try to be discrete and cover up, but once baby and mommy get the hang of things, you can even be discrete w/ no cover up.
We left a church over this issue. They didn't even want to offer the nursery - which I was fine with. They wanted me to either go out to my van (we have severe weather here - it's either really cold or really hot, not much in between), or go to do it on the toilet. No thanks. We left and found a more "breastfeeding - friendly" church. I don't get why they have a problem with something God created to begin with.
Don't know what you mean about a bucket - but I've never done that and don't intend to.

I saw the pix that facebook banned and many of the pix were not focusing on bf as the main issue.Many of the moms were topless, one was wrapped in a towel.I saw another mom with one boob occupied and the other boob totally out in the open and exposed.There were some that showed the breast, areola, and nipple with no feeding from the baby.Another mom was completely naked except for black underwear where the baby was on her lap feeding.I have no probs with the women that were wearing clothes and the baby's head was covering breast.I believe many of those photos were out of line and I would have taken them down too.Breastfeeding is wonderful, but i don't want to see the whole veiny, stretchmarked breast on the net either.Anyways, most of those profiles were set to private and only accessible to friends, so i guess their friends reported them.I don't blame them though, many of the pix were in bad taste.Scroll thru this link.I admit that some of the pix are really sweet but others are gross.

No, I would not. And I really don't care to be eating and some lady pull out her boobs and start feeding a baby while I'm trying to eat.. I think if you want to breast feed don't do it in public. That's why there's breast pumps.. Use them Please.

I breastfeed my daughter in public. I've gotten to the point now where the only way you can tell I'm breastfeeding is if you're intently starring at me. I think the most ridiculous thing is when people expect me to go sit in the bathroom to feed my daughter, there's no way I'm sitting on some toilet seat to feed my baby.

Us mummies have got to do what we got to do. If my baby wants feeding I'll feed her anywhere even though I am such a prude. But no I would not express my milk into a bucket.
