Myspace is more for school kids although i have one! lol and face book is more for uni students and older ppl but all pretty much the same to be honest :-)

Facebook has apps (fun but can get cluttered) and is less customizable/more 'neat', older crowd and more school based connections.
Myspace is very messy but allows you to show your personal style through your page. Can be complicated to use.
I personally prefer Yuniti ( http://yuniti.com ) because it combines the best of both + its own kool things. It is simple and organized, but also lets you express yourself. It is also the safest (most security features) and is the only site that lets users of any age join.
