Honestly You Cant Really Stop what the Media Is Putting on The Internet, All you Really Have To do Is be Honest. If SOmeone Ask you Then Tell Them you Have No Idea What Its from Or anything. I Get Stuff like That too And Its Usually Like the computer uses Key words To Post Up Adds That Might Relate to you.... so Its Not a big Deal.

Aww.. sorry to hear that. Tell them to type in your full name. Be honest and tell them its not u before they check. Talk to them about it, and you yourself believe and know that it is NOT you and that u r not that horrible. Every name is unique an special. Don;t kill yourself, don't change your name, and goodluck!

Have you googled your name on another computer? If you only use one computer then it most likely means that a hacker has gotten on your computer and just uses your name from stuff. People can get in and see every letter that you type on this thing and every time you delete anything. There's not much you can do. If it is on other computers besides just yours you might want to contact your cyber crimes unit of your police department and just ask them if there's anything they know of to do.

I think that spam just goes to you, I look up things and get adds for it all the time, that's just the spyware in your computer. Like if i look up volvo's I'll start getting adds for them you know? If you google your name, do you see yourself on these sites? Try googling your first and last and see what comes up, it's probably not as bad as you think. Even if they do show up it's not like even though your name is unique that your the only person in the world with that name.

Here are some things I NEVER do on-line:

Don't send anyone a picture of yourself.
Don't give out your real name.
Don't give out your real address.
Don't give out your Social Security Number
Don't give out your real birth date
When picking out a pin #, password, or question hints, don't use anything that someone could figure out.

Don't give out any banking info.
Never answer any questions regarding your lifestyle.
Don't give out info on how much you earn.
NEVER fill out on-line surveys unless you are absolutely sure who it is for. By filling out surveys, you are giving people info about you and this action will increase the SPAMS's you receive.

Sure hope this helps a little.

Now, in answer to your question: all of us get SPAM and sometimes its content is filthy. ALWAYS activate your SPAM filter on your computer.
NEVER open the SPAM or open any websites unless you absolutely know the person.
Each time you receive a SPAM, report it as SPAM and be sure your SPAM filter is always working.
Keep deleting the SPAM's.

Also, I don't think you have to worry about any of this when applying for a job. I don't know of any company that would ask to check out your e-mails.
