I wondered that myself I think its because the police in Scotland are brutal & take no prisoners

because if those pillocks decided to come to scotland for a fight.. oh sh*t they'd get one. they're scared of us.

The Scots and the Welsh have more sense and respect for each other and theire neighbours and neighourhood, why do you think they want Independance from England? The quicker we get full independance the better, all these English riots are going to put up the prices of everything we all buy,as these big stores and companies will just put up the price of theire products to cover up the losses they made with all the looting and increased price of insurances. So we all pay for the looters
nights of madness and greed.Actually a 16yr old lad was arrested in south Glasgow today for trying to incte a riot in Glasgow, the police had traced him through twitter or facebook.

We are not so densely populated as cities in England
There's more people living in London than the whole of Scotland anyway
We don't have high concentrations of ethnic minorities either

Wales, more so Cardiff has been ethnically diverse since the industrial revolution. When Cardiff was the busiest port in the World because of coal,it was Arabs,Africans and Orientals who worked on the docks.
If you look at British history,it was Africans,Muslims and Orientals who worked in the engine rooms and as stokers in the merchant and battle ships during our wars, but they very rarely get a mention!

Who cares, I'm just glad they havn't happened here.

As a Scot, I think it is most likely that the type of person capable of rioting in Scotland would not want to have themselves associated with the English. Perhaps we see it as our chance to prove ourselves a better country?
Also we are a lot less densely populated than many parts of England.

I believe Scotland is getting its fair share of rioting tonight!!!!

Not as much sence as you may think then hey?

Oh and im Scotish and i dont have a chip on my shoulder about the English like clearly some of you do.
