I think that it is because there is so much good stuff like free schools and free market and there is soo many people with alot of money that people here have become greedy and careless and dont appreciate what they have! Ya know?

People are too lazy to work. They want to just steal and get all they can for nothing. We are not teaching good morals. Anything goes. We took God out of everything.

Our government is not as harsh when people break laws in America. There is also a bigger problem with social classes and greed here because while people in many other countries are concerned with getting plenty to eat, we are concerned about owning a designer bag. So people here take everything for granted and focus instead on owning ridiculously expensive things - and are willing to do whatever it takes to get them.

Too many weapons. They are so caught up in their constitution giving them the right to bear arms. Well, that may have been useful over 200 years ago, but in todays civilized society it is absurd.

There are several factors:
Our culture is more individualistic and competitive.
Violence is perpetuated by the media.
Poverty and alienation.

The number one source of crime is the criminalization of drugs. Stiff drug penalitys cause reemployment to be very difficult creating increased crime because of poverty. Drug addicts tend to be addicts for life and to feed their habits the hardcore ones steal.

Black and Hispanic culture in the inner city is also a big problem. Parents are irresponsible and pass this irresponsibility on to their kids.

Well, it could start in the crib when a baby is forming its opinions about their own value and their parents can't stand being inconvenienced by a baby so they shut the door and ignore it, or they shake the baby or yell at it. If you look at people who commit violent crimes they come from situations where parents were often too young, have their own problems like drug abuse and emotionally if not physically abused their child.
They have found evidence that in the frontal lobe of the brain is an area that doesn't develop if a person suffers long term abuse or bullying. This area of the brain is "impulse" contol, so if a person gets angry, most people will be able to control their emotions, but a person who is stunted will not.

I would attribute the crime rate to a lack of sex, culture, and an unhealthy preoccupation with consumption.

In the most simple terms...
People who should not have kids, have them.

We are living in a Degeneration society today.

Everything and everyone are expecting the best...evil lurkings..

And people have too much free time in hand, too little communications, too little love and too much of ME..
