I already changed my twitter username from @screamingcunts to @screamingcunts_ but if you search up my old username it still connects to my current account. I don't know if that makes sense. Like I don't want people searching up my old username and still finding my account after I changed it. Does anyone know how long this takes?

according to twitter, may take up to a day? but it should only be an hour or two at best. twitter is very big now that it has 70 million users and 60 million of them are spam accounts for porn or some kind of service or advertsiment
