Why does Facebook still ignore my privacy settings? - Space Oddity - 02-19-2014 12:45 PM

When I google my name, it links to a post on a Facebook page. and I have the option ticked off for "public search". Google says to contact the webmaster but idk how to contact Fb's webmaster. I'm just confused, and ended up deleting all my comments on pages and groups cause they all show up on google regardless. the comment that keeps showing my name on google was made by someone I don't know, who used my full name.. and I tried contacting him and reporting the message but nothing happens Sad
HOW DO I FIX THIS

Google will store a lot of information for a long time. However after updating your privacy settings or remove the info they will gladly remove the search results for you.

here is more info on how to go about doing this

Then use their removal tool to request the removal, you may need to sign up for a google account, but it is free and I have used this tool before. It usually takes a few days

Edit: and if someone is using your name you can contact facebook, I think they ask you to send a picture of you holding a sign with your facebook id to prove that you are the real owner of the account
