In twitter, how do you do the # with the highlighted (blue)word? - iloveyou13 - 10-14-2012 04:44 PM

Just started getting into twitter (i know, kinda late right..haha) anyways whenever people tweet, they have something like "just #saveit" and the saveit would be blue with no spaces. I know its from a topic thats trending, but how do you insert somthing like that into a tweet? I tried looking but i couldn't figure it out... Ive been wondering how to do it latley...
thanks(:

Its a Twitter trick to search for trending topics on Twitter. Just put a '#' sign before the word you like to show that blue link. and simply post it. There will be a link on that word. by clicking that word you can find out more tweets related to that word.
