Before you get like from facebook users, first you should aks yourself one question why people will like your page and what people can get from you.
Your page entertains people with interesting and amazing things, and people will like you. And if your page provides people with useful advice and products, that's good too. Try to make your facebook apge beneficial.
What's more, the more people know your page, the more likes your page gains. Therefore, you need to let as many people as possible find your page.

Make sure your page is favorable by most people and if it is then post the link in your status and convince ppl to like it. Also it's a waste of time and you won't get anything out of a couple thousand likes
