Why do so many men think a good woman is one who can cook very well? - highfan829 - 10-14-2012 04:47 PM Why do so many men think a good woman is one who can cook very well? Quite often in real life and online I hear and see men say that they want a woman who can cook. This has even been proven to me as there is a trending topic on Twitter "Men marry who that (who)" and a lot of people are tweeting that men marry women who can cook. I could give many other examples but I am sure no one wants to read them all. And just because you haven't heard men saying this it doesn't mean it isn't true. What does nurturing/caring have to do with cooking? - Anonymous638 - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM They. Like to eat - Adrienne Vera - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM And here I thought men married women who can *** well.... - raspyjuice859 - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM The same reason " so many " women want a man who can provide well. It stems from traditional values. - MightyGrinch - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM Those are just words in the air. it's like women who say that they look for funny guys; they forget the whole thing once they see a hot dude even if they know he's a total douche. - Lucy - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM On the whole men are good protectors but not so good at nurturing\caring. Most men want a woman who is feminine and caring, cooks/cleans etc. - Louise C - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM I don't know. I never met a man who cared about my cooking ability, just as well as I am only a mediocre cook. - Miss Tree - 10-14-2012 04:55 PM I hope it's true because I'm a good cook. But it's probably just one of those things guys say. But I HAVE met SOME guys that are REALLY into being cooked for, to the point of fetishism. There's a lot of young guys whose moms don't cook any more, so being cooked for is like a huge buzz for them. I mean they can literally get a hardon from it. They're not rare, but maybe not in a majority. |
