Because none of these children even know how to communicate with peers anymore. Instead, they have Skype playdates. Also, a lot of bullying occurs through these sites because kids will hide behind a computer

Cyber Bullying,
Skype,

Children bully other children. this could lead to the victim cutting themselves,

Children are on Facebook at age 8, who go out with people through the web and parents dont know...

Then stalkers come, and ask for every little detail and can track down children.

Often, people pose as others, and ask to meet up with a child, if the child meets up, an adult comes, and could rape or kill a child.

It's not. Non-disciplined, unmonitored kids on social media are bad. There's nothing inherently bad with social media, in the same way there's nothing inherently bad about guns. What people do with these tools is where the problem is -- if kids were monitored more closely by responsible parents, the majority of negative things (with regards to children) that occur through social media would be gone.
