new facebook friends list? - Sunkissed - 02-19-2014 12:47 PM

Once the new facebook came out, the friend's list was changed. When your viewing someone's profile, there are 10 friends on the left side of there profile.
how are people chosen to be on the list. Is it on who's profile you view the most? who views your profile the most, who you talk to the most?
if you could help that would be great!

I think its just random everytime but i could be wrong. I think there is an app where you can pick 10 of your top friends like myspace did. Hope i helped a little(:

I have a suspicion that whoever is on top is who is viewing.

I notice that when a particular person posts on my page or has just received a message from me they tend to be on top.

I also notice am on top or number 2 ..depends on how many people view the profile at the same time" when I look at a particular page.

I never really believed it was random...I just noticed that for a long time..

yes there is a new apps as Ashley said but I do not use it..I do not think it is fair.

@below : I did not mean STRANGERS..who are not in your list. But even again yesterday I noticed that people who are in your circle DO appear on top when viewing your profile . about to post on your page, have had just posted, and when I post or just read another friend's page I DO appear on top myself also...

And it is not new nor having anything to do with the recent change either..I always noticed it !

According to Facebook:

“Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.”
