Why do you have to log in to see someone's full facebook profile? So people would know who viewed their profile?

No,it's because you have to be a member of facebook to see other peoples facebooks.
I think its a great privacy advantage for the users,so that random people cant come along and just stalk you. like on myspace.
Oh and also,no you cant see who viewed your profile.

No, there is no way for people to know who viewed your profile.

They require you to be registered in order to view someone's full profile for security and privacy reasons. So random people from the web can't go to your profile through google or something.

Also just because you have facebook (ie. you registered for an account) doesn't mean you can view everyone's full facebook profile.

Unless you are their friend, you cannot view someone's profile that is not in your network, and/or if their privacy settings are set so that only friends can view their profile.
