I added some people on the Facebook and when i go on their profiles its written"awaiting friend confirmation" but i can see what they did on the news feed....does that mean the accepted the request or not?

It depends from the facebook friend whether he/she will accepted as your friends or not.

no if it says awaiting friend confirmation that means the person has not accepted u yet so ya and if u cant see there stuff it is cause it is private and only for friends
