In facebook, I get an email every time there is a notification. This becomes extremely annoying, as I get like a hundred emails a day, and I don't really want to set facebook as spam.
I'm using Gmail.
Do you know how to redirect emails in Gmail to another folder, or simply stop notification emails?

I'm not sure how to redirect e-mails in Gmail to another folder, but this is how you stop notifications.
Log into Facebook, then click on the account tab on the upper right hand corner of the screen and choose 'Account Settings'. After you have done that, go to the tab that says 'Notifications' and just uncheck all the boxes that you don't want to get notifications for.
