Mutual friends on Facebook come about when you and another user that is not a friend have a "mutual friend". In other words, Bob is friends with Kate; Kate is friends with you; Bob and your mutual friend is Kate.

what you do to get mutual friends on Facebook is you become friends with the same friends that your friends has that makes it a mutual friend.
