LIKING SOMEONE WITHOUT KNOWING??? - Gc - 02-19-2014 02:01 PM
I'm a senior about to graduate. So I know I can't like anyone. I know I can't go out with anyone. And I know I would never let myself be interested in anyone younger than me.
BUT while knowing this, I think I started subconsciously liking this sophomore in my Chinese class.
He's sat in front of me all year, but I never talked to him much. If I did talk to him, it was purely related to the homework/classwork. We're always in separate groups too.
Lately I've started talking to him, small conversations here and there. But it's not like it's because I really want to talk to him. I just talk to him because we sit near each other and the class is painfully boring.
We're not even friends on Facebook, so we don't talk outside of class at all. Even when I pass him in the hall, we've never acknowledged each other.
Last night I had this dream about him (NOT A DIRTY DREAM BTW), it was just a dream with me and him. But I only ever dream about a guy I really really like, or about some celebrity crush. So I was utterly confused as to why I was dreaming about him.
And today, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I couldn't wait until Chinese class so I could see him. I wanted to be in his group. I wanted him to talk to me. He was always just "there", but today I actually noticed him and felt like I wanted him to notice me. How did I get so shaken up over him?
I've made it pretty clear to myself that I wouldn't date anyone right now, much less a younger guy. Do I like him? Or is it just a passing infatuation? I just can't figure out why I feel like this. Is it possible to start liking someone without knowing?
ALSO I don't find him attractive physically and I never did. I mean he's got a pretty good personality and all but I never found him attractive in terms of appearance.
This just makes me more confused.
