I want to download Instagram on my laptop with windows 8, or anything compatible. I keep searching with no luck. I found many websites and downloaded instagram, but they require me to sign in with my account from my smartphone (I dont have one!!) or sync my mobile phone to the laptop app (again, I dont have a smartphone, and therefore, no pre-existing instagram account)!!
This is really frustrating. I want to download instagram on my laptop and REGISTER a new account on my laptop. I need to find a link that doesn't require already owning a smartphone. Unless this is not possible?
I mean, not everyone has a smartphone...if you could please help me with very specific instructions. I don't just want a random link to a download. I have tried bluetracks and a number of other sites with no luck.
To JP, I have done what you told me, but it still asks me to sign in (as if I already have an account on an iphone or an android). There is no "make a new account" or "register".

try downloading it from the chrome app store & click the 1st icon that says instagram & install it. I this program works with the chrome browser. info from http://www.youtube.com
