So if I do not have Facebook opened in my browser, but have it installed in people application on Windows 8, will I appear allways online on FB chat ?? I see that I am allways online on Skype, I hope the same thing doesn't happen with Facebook ...

Windows 8 people application works like 'Who's online ' app that you find in most android devices. Once you are logged on, every one online will notice.
