Go to this page:
http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account
Click "Submit".
*Note: This will PERMANENTLY delete your account. It's not the same as "deactivating" it.

go to settings at the top right hand part..
click it..
then go down to deactivate
at the bottom..

you 1st have 2 delete all of your info an stuff and then you press the delete button and then its deleted!!!! LOL!!!!! so ya hope that helps

I don't think it's like myspace. You can't just delete the account out of nowhere. Just don't go on it for quite some time. Maybe the Facebook team or whatever will realize, this guy doesn't want an account, and delete it.

I'm not possitive you can. At least delete all your photos, information and wall posts. Then change your name to something random and then at least it will seem like you don't have a facebook.

Go to setting at the right hand corner.
Then go to account settings.
then go to deactivate account at the bottom.
