You almost certainly wouldn't get a conversation with him. You could look for him on Twitter/Facebook etc and post questions.

Well I certainly would bother with Twitter because he gets on it about once every month... Try going to a meet and greet or CD signing and stand at the end of the line so you can try to talk then...
