is it presumptuous to post my christmas wish list of presents on facebook and other social media? - buntzy - 10-14-2012 07:09 PM

actually, it's a friend of mine....
kinda irritated me.
i wanted to see what other people thought.

he also put his child's christmas list online too

i would NEVER ask for gifts like that for myself or my family...im not a charity

Why not, they put everything else out there.

It's not any more presumptuous than a wedding gift registry

Yes, that would be a very gauche and tactless thing to do.

No more presumptuous than being on that social media in the first place.

Yes it is; post your wishes on amazon on your wish list.

If you hint about presents you want on facebook. It would make you look vain, and greedy. Your friends would snicker about it behind your back. Your grown now. Which means your to old to make a Christmas list.
