Can Facebook accounts be hacked?`? - Curious - 02-20-2014 10:35 AM

Hello world. I seldom heard that Facebooks accounts got hacked. And worse,we can't out our Facebook account on private and anybody can view our profile. So is there anyway to protect ourself from being hacked on Facebook?

make sure they can't get near your email address...watch out for viruses or links that appear to be pictures

anything can be hacked.

The most common ways to get hacked are:

- downloading "bad" facebook applications
- entering your password on a phising site (more common for myspace)
- telling someone else your password

Don't worry about it. No one can just hack into facebook and steal your account.

It's true, facebook accounts can be hacked and it's funny you asked now of all times...not funny haha, just funny ironic because my friend Sarah's was hacked last night. Almost all of her friends got a post about shoes then my friend Alexa's profile was too!

Would you, could you...

Don't give out you personal information or anything connected to your facebook account and make sure hackers can't get your Email address.

Yes. I know this because mine was hacked. The person was logging into my account and sending messages. But they didn't ever change my password, so I could still log in. As soon as I found out it was hacked, I changed my password. Changing your password often helps not only on Facebook, but on other sites. Smile
