You connect with people you know and friends. You post pictures, talk to them and relate to your peers. There are privacy options that you can select that limit who can see your profile, who can search for you and who can add you as a friend.

Facebook is for networking, so you won't have much privacy if you add friends. Your friends basically see everything you do:pictures that you upload, your comments, your wall posts and your status. But people who arent your friends just see your name, your profile picture, and they can also see who your friends are. Facebook is fun though, and nothing bad really happens. It keeps you updated on your friends.

The privacy is very secret unless you post all your info in that section,You could put all your information l have all of mine but yet l only have friends that l know and im very close with and they no all of that information all ready,and no one can see your profile unless you add them.
