Anna Hazare movement became a flop show...whom to blame..?..Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, media, or Anna himself...? - Hello - 10-14-2012 07:16 PM

Anna Hazare movement that started with a big bang in New Delhi as a corruption crusader is now seen nowhere...Anna Hazare fast was supported by media and even people joined.. the mass hysteria led the parliament and MPs to debate and govt. was forced to form a committee....It looked as if social activist have become real stars of then nation...Movement was joined by Baba Ramdev, and designed by Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi... There were many ups and downs in the whole year and the movement was more seen as "Anti-Congress" rather "Anti-political parties"....Their Janlokpal bill and methods looked as a more hypothetical and humorous to many social and law experts....Recently Anna disbanded the movement and there are differences between Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Justice Santosh Hegde, Baba Ramdev and others... It also seemed as if Anna Hazare though a well known social reformer LACKED a vision, political and social knowledge, direction, patience, leadership, philosophy and intellectual thinking through out the movement (unlike M Gandhi).... The movement only targets MPs and leave the corporates, Industrialists, etc who cause major fraud...Also another section of social activits like Arundhothy Roy, Aruna Roy, Harsh Mandar etc never supported this movement.... What you think went wrong with the whole episode of Anna Hazare movement...?

Anna Hazares movement turned out to be a flop because most of the Indians are corrupt, greedy and selfish.

peoples of india are solely responsible for the failure we indians thought why we invest our time let somebody else do it why we should not came out in large number is anna fighting for himself or for our people , our country let us stop the blame game and start it again time is running out

we all are responsible for this condition,we want that every thing must be ok without any any sacrifice, without any efforts, without any devotion, without hard work etc.we want all comforts,we are always ready to do shortcuts/blame each other/and pull the legs of any person who is doing something good, hence it all happened.

Remember the movement of Jay Prakash Narayan of 1970s. His movement ultimately changed the Government in power in Delhi, because most of the Opposition Parties supported his movement then.
Whereas, Anna's anti-corruption and Jan Lokpal Bill movement covers even all the corrupt Politicians, irrespective of rulling or opposition parties. Thus, the support base of Anna is limited. Moreover, except for core committee member, Akhil Gogoi, no other members of Team Anna has experience of organising mass movement and support base. It is but a lesson for team Anna; rather than a a flop show.

Hazare parted ways with Kejriwal-led group on September 19 over the issue of the anti-corruption movement taking a plunge into politics. The discussion on the issue came up at a meeting, which was also attended by Kiran Bedi, held at Maharashtra Sadan the next day.

Anna is fighting for those people who do not want non corrupt society and that is why movement has failed. It is similar to caste ism. The people wanted all benefits of caste and still wanted caste less society.

It is a collective failure.

If Lokpal bill is instituted, does the credit got Kejariwal or Ram dev or Kiran Bedi !!! Then, how come the blame could fall on their head !!! If anna disbanded the movement, I think he realised that he can not give any thing to people if they do not want to receive. Your assertion that it is anti-congress, anna did not propose "anti-congress Janlokpal". Ifr congress is afraid of Lokpal, it may have it'
s own reasons.
" LACKED a vision, political and social knowledge, direction, patience, leadership, philosophy and intellectual thinking through out the movement" This statement is excellent for a seminar. (unlike M Gandhi).M.Gandhi's moment was stretched over a period of 30 years. It was backed up by a huge mass of frustrated people. Anna in the last two years, tried to fight a well instituted, well entrenched (for sixty years) demon of corruption and of corce could not succeed. If some one mocks at him or phoo phoo him as he failed to eradicate such deeply entrenched corruption, and blame his associates, that is an indication imbalance.
Every movement undergoes changes as it progresses. If you make fun of Carl Marx because Soviet Union gve up communism, I am afraid you are not fair to Marx. But one thing you must notice.Even the buffalo felt the pin prick. I am sure, in cource of time the pin prick will become an open heart surgery.
