Victoria Police encourage people to report these things. Ask for thier IT or Internet fraud squad as they investigate this all the time. You can also report it directly online to Facebook managment.

Have a careful look at your facebook page, is there something you have posted that gives away your address or your comings and goings? Delete and block all the people who are not really close friends. Earlier on here you mentioned an event that could if it were true give away the suburb you live in. We all have to be extremely mindful that we are one post away from a stalker.

Yes they do!
Tell your parents and they will phone the police.

Firstly have a look at your Facebook privacy settings. You should have it set up so only you and friends can see your page, don't have it set so that 'friends if friends' have access, and make sure that only a limited number of trusted people have access to your email address. Also delete any 'friends, that you either don't know personally you don't trust. Notify Facebook that you are getting threats, and speak to the Police as they must follow up any cyber bullying or online threats. Take a parent with you when you go to the Police.

Sextacy, absolutely!! How do you think a joint international covert operation busted a child porn ring late last year.

Not only is it a violation of set rules on Facebook, but your bullies have pretty much left themselves open to criminal prosecution. Their actions has an element for a charge to stand, and they WILL have their I.Ps tracked and reported to Victoria Police for investigation on the usage and details provided for that internet account. In other words, their I.P address is a bit like a licence plate that enables police to track down their home address.

Just report them to your nearest police station with proof of the threatening messages. Things like this will not be taken lightly. You should not feel threatened online.

Update: Your bullies are looking at an indictable offence that carries a maximum 10 year imprisonment at a level 5 correctional facility, if they've been making threats to kill. If not, then they could be charged with harassment and stalking which can lead to criminal prosecution.

All police take facebook threats seriously. Go to the local police. Or close your facebook account, open a new one, and only allow people you know on your facebook.

This is serious. Talk to the police. They can trace who these people are and take steps to keep you safe and stop them from harassing you.

Tell your parents about it and report to the police immediately.
Threats over any digital platform are taken very seriously.
