Where can I buy an one of these Australia Day T shirts? - Mr Alphabet - 02-20-2014 04:40 PM

Name of supermarket not included in main question to avoid deletion.

I hope some were sold off before the PC brigade became active. They will be a collector's item. I would treasure & wear one!

You can get one printed up at a local screen printer if you really want one

I doubt any of the cheap and nasty modern Australia Day paraphernalia will ever be collectors' items, except with the bogan brigade.

I'm usually seen as part of the PC brigade, but honestly, I can't see a problem with this T-shirt. That is the year Australia, as we now know it, was established. And despite some of the nasty things that have occurred throughout European settlement, all Australians now share the benefits this country offers.

My favourite Australia Day T-shirt has the slogan, "Australia Resettling Boat People Since 1788."

Well there goes the bicentenary! happy holidays everyone (no offence of course)

Aldi had them this last week. I saw them there.

Another example of the loonie , fringe dwelling minority intimidating the majority ...

Crazy stuff ! Now what would happen if I was to put the Joh for PM bumper sticker that I have squirreled away on my car ?

If "The "Est 1788" slogan apparently referred to the date of first European settlement in Australia." is offensive, then why are we still celebrating 26 January 1788.

We could do better:

such as

Established with Conviction
Petty thieving since 1788
Australia - beating England at all the games they invented, since 1788
Australia 1788 - Thank god my ancestors got on the right boat or I'd be an American!
Australia - stil pretty empty since 1788 because most of the Irish went to America.
