Like so people who aren't on my friends list can't see anything except my profile picture?

Check your settings from the blue bar at the top of the screen. Privacy Settings should be there. Usually under a button with a cogwheel symbol of some kind. Then you can twiddle your settings all you like, un-tick and tick things :o)

Change your Privacy Settings Set Everything to Friends Only You Can Find Some Settings Under the Lock and Others on the Privacy Settings Page

Go to ''privacy settings'' and edit ''who can look me up?''.
Please be aware that your cover photo will still be viewable as well as your profile picture.
