We'll say what people say.
I asked that question a few months back and most people said since he's better there's no way he would actually be taking someones spot.
It's over though, he shouldn't get called up ever again.
How can he say he'll go when he's ready? Will he go when he's in decline and in a lower level team?
Herrera was clear though and said he didn't see it in Vela when they were talking so he didn't continue and basically left it alone.
One day we'll know what is really happening though.
