At what point is it okay to make a Facebook page for my photography? - Sam - 02-21-2014 02:02 PM

So far I've only had a film camera and haven't been paid to take photos yet, it's just been a hobby. But I am getting a dSLR in a few weeks, and have decided to pursue photography as something serious. Should I make a Facebook page for my photography? And do I have to come up with a clever name for it, or can it just be "(My Name) Photography"?

This may be a silly question but I don't want to look foolish making a page for this if I'm not like, at that level yet or something.

Make a blog rather than a facebook page, it looks more professional for potential clients.

http://www.blogspot.com is a good free blog website.
