Hide certain activity on fb timeline? - just a dreamer - 02-22-2014 04:10 AM
So, is there a way to block your activity on Facebook -- such as commenting on someone s status, or liking someones status, from appearing on your timeline or on another persons main news feed? I know about going into your activity log and clicking the little grey circle, however it only gives me the option to delete my comment or unlike the status, not to just hide it... help!? :-) thx

go to your timeline , on the top right of the post you want to hide select the gear symbol and choose hide from timeline

the issue there is the ticker, not the timeline
and no, you cannot hide the things you like or comment on from the ticker - all your friends get to see all of those things, and there's no way to turn it off

Why do you like or comment that you want to hide. Stop doing like and comment then nobody can see your activity. Because we do it to show to others people.
