Yes, I believe that it's possible. However, my account has never been hacked, which is a blessing, so I can't say for sure.

Yes it can! Happened to me :/ Its most of the time the random wall post from friends about advertisements or the random i.ms saying things like " omg is this you..!"
Don't enter your fb info on any site but facebook.
