I just got a blackberry curve, and it has no data plan, but i want to be able to receive notifications from facebook through texts. Will it cost money or will it be free?

Getting text from Facebook is just like getting a text from anyone else , it depends on your plan do you have unlimited text or a certain amount ? If you don't have unlimited I wouldn't do it , because you can be right on the verge of going over your text amount and all of a sudden you get a flood of Facebook notifications .
