Would you say it's risky to market your services on Facebook? - Boss - 02-23-2014 01:24 PM

My friend has created a new educational website. He is weary of promulgating it on the likes of Y!A, FB and Moodle for he has yet to solidify his domain via pay.

He is opting to align his webpage with Chris Farrell in order to obtain more traffic, but it's a rather slow and arduous process.

The main question is, would you advise him to stay away from Facebook (even though it's a great site to market), given that it's a haven for thieves, hackers, and government moles?

Cheers.

I don't think so?

I haven't heard of hackers or government moles.

If it's a fairly small business, I'd do it on Facebook rather than pay for a website. Then just see how it goes. If it gets really big, he can then decide to do a website, and then notify all his Facebook followers of the change, and the link.
