I know it sounds stupid, but watch some comedies! The Inbetweeners especially.
I used to cry at least once every day, and after watching nearly ALL the comedies on 4od, I'm ok. Also, enjoy life. Just forget about everything bad, focus on the good. Wear a rubber band on your wrist, and snap it on your wrist every time you think something sad.

Work out, it creates some sort of stuff in your blood that makes you happy thought its called Endorphin or something.

Only way to get out of depression is do stuff you enjoy just go out and do something exciting.

It worked for me so it should work you and I got dumped yesterday and i've been working out these 2 days now and i'm totally fine

++ If you work out enough check yourself back in the mirror and rate that hot piece of ass that bears your name

Find something that you enjoy, and find a friend that enjoys that same hobby. I work out constantly and it makes me way happier.

As everyone will suggest; see a doctor.

Also, and that helps more than you'll think, surround yourself with comedy. That's what I do when I'm depressed and in general. You're on Twitter? Follow comedians. Watch a lot comedy films, TV shows, stand up shows on Comedy Central and on YouTube. Laughter really is the best medicine. And do learn how to make fun of your own situation. It sounds simple, it is simple, but very helpful.

P.S. No depressing songs or drama movies/TV shows. ;-)

Depression is a real disorder and oftentimes doesn't get better on its own. I would suggest speaking with a specialist in your area who can help you determine what is going on and assist you with treatment if necessary. Best of luck to you!
