Settings - choose a different email, set default and then delete the gmail associated to it. (Settings - top right)

You have to Change your Email Address to Something Different Than If you Dont Have a Another Email Address to Use Than you Wont Be Able to Do it if you have a Another Email Address to Use Than Go to Account Settings Where it Says Email Click Change Than Put in the New Email Address That you Want to Use
