Facebook Page For website...does alexa recognize it?!? - . - 02-23-2014 06:52 PM

ok so i recently created a facebook page for my website and it has 132 likes now but i read an article today about creating a page for a website and it said that the page type should be selected "Brand, Product, or Organization" but my page type was selected "Entertainment" [I read The Article here : http://www.bloggingtips.com/2009/08/11/c… ]
and i basically made the page so that i would get a higher alexa ranking(ive heard that an fb page and the number of it's likes matters in alexa ranking)....does alexa recognize that the page is connected and related to my website?
P.S.:i have set website name in the settings and i put website name in "About"

Alexa rankings are associated with websites only and I don't think it will ranks web pages as well. Have you ever checked the Alexa rank for your Facebook page?

Optimising Facebook fan page Is same as optimising web page. Include main keyword in fan page name, title, description and keywords. About type of the web page; you need to select it according your page is about. Alexa will recognise it, be sure about that and is not first time that searching for certain keyword I find Facebook page on the first page of Google.
BTW, in description you should include URL of your main webpage.
