If I for example own a store. Is it legal for me to post advertisem on my facebook?

Yes, in most cases, it is legal:

--If you have your own profile, and you want anyone who can see your profile to know about your business, you can post it to your wall, post a link to your website or commercial, make a photo album with your advertisements, create "events" and invite people for special events at the store, etc.

--You can also post advertisements on your friends' walls, as long as they're okay with it. If they're not, they might report it as spam, and of course you'll get in trouble.

--You can create a fan page for your store, invite all your friends and family to "like" your store, and then encourage them to pass on invites to others to "like" your store. Then, you can post anything on that fan page's wall, and it will show up in everyone's news feed (everyone who "liked" your store, that is). This is the best way to spread news about your store, upcoming sales, and so on, and it's free.
