i want to create a second facebook for my xbox account (dont ask why) but it requires a phone number. any way around it? i used my number for my main FB
it said i need my phone number to activate my account. otherwise i cant add people or send messages.

I don't think Facebook 'requires' phone numbers... Because I never gave it mine. Try to create an account without the phone #

It shouldn't require a phone number. If it does, just make something up.

I don't know what you are doing wrong in facebook but I didn't have to give my phone number so just so you know a phone number is not required when you sign up to facebook

Due to Facebook marketing stretigies and security reasons now facebook requires cellphone numbers. their marketing dept came up with it, they will cell this to advertisers who will spam your phone with textads. facebook will earn millions from this scheme. as well as its doing for your account security.. and also you get msgs on your mobile throught facebook regardings facebook updates like who comment, and accept your friend request...etcs...
try to submit same mobile no with your other FB account and check may be it will work as i did it and its working fine nowww.... and the other option take another no. and submit it in FB too.. ;o))))
