Sometimes at work my phone will die and my kids need to contact me. They used to just send me a Facebook message when this happened and I would see the notification while checking Email and could quickly respond. However, for some reason I no longer receive the notifications in my Email when I get a message, but I receive all other notifications like a comments. Does anyone know how to fix this?
-I tried going to the notification settings and tick the correct mark, but it still only shows up as a message notification, not the notifications that are sent to my Email. I need the message to show up on the little "world" symbol next to the messaging notification system to get it in Email.

go to facebook Account Settings (from the down arrow on the top bar) then notifications. Then tick the ones you want.
