Design side what has Nintendo changed on the WiiU compared to the Wii? - ????? - 02-24-2014 03:22 PM I am researching the eight gen consoles and i have got a little stuck on the WiiU i know the biggest difference is the gaming pad but is there anything else just about looks of the console. Any help would be great. Thank you ![]() - llaffer - 02-24-2014 03:28 PM In hardware, the video is capable of 1080p output. In software, the eShop is a vast improvement over what Wii Shop was. MiiVerse gives a Nintendoesque social media venue for sharing screenshots and thoughts, ask questions and get answers, etc. that just didn't exist on the Wii. TVii is a joke. I used it once and never went back to it. GamePad in addition to having the screen also is a universal remote for most TVs and cable boxes and has NFC support (though right now only one game supports it). |
