What are good research paper topics for a teen girl? - iceprincess - 02-24-2014 08:10 PM

I have to pick a topic that I have to research intensely for AP English. This is a year long project, so I want to pick a topic that I would really like to know about. The problem is, the topic has to have a ton of information about it, because every other week from now until march, I have to bring in an article supporting or opposing or just introducing my topic to the class, so there needs to be plenty of articles about it and it needs to be an issue that won't be resolved over the next few months.

I want something that interests me. I'm very girly, so I'm not into anything pertaining to space or sports. I was thinking about these topics:
-social media (how it affects our generation or how it affects girls body image)
-gayness (some studies have shown that gayness is linked to a certain gene in the body, it's not a choice)
-technology (how it affects our generation; good or bad?)

So those are what I'm interested in, but I want more ideas to choose from. So if anyone could suggest some topic ideas, that would really help!!!
