So there's this download that lets you view private facebook profiles without friending them and lets you see their profile even if you're blocked. It's like a cookie installed on your computer that makes it think you're already friends so you can see everything.
There are lots of links on the internet and youtube and once you download it, you need to complete a survey and get a password to use it.
Now all I need to know is whether this is a real thing or if it's just a scam. Like half of people on the internet say it works, but the other half say it's a scam. I downloaded a file and then had to do this survey to unlock it but after I did it, it just lead me to more advertisements and I don't think it unlocked it.
So is it real? Answers appreciated.

They are all scams.. don't fall for them, anything that you can't do officially on facebook, can't be done unofficially

No, it is not real. It is a scam to get you to give them your personal info, so they can send you SPAM, or worse.

It's a SCAM and you just downloaded malware onto your computer. Delete the file ASAP and run a full virus scan and Malwarebytes
