I downloaded the new native Facebook app for the iPhone today, and I can't figure out how to check friend requests on it. Any help?

You can't.
The Facebook application is very limited.
They'll update it again soon (be happy...they updated it a couple days ago...before that, there wasn't a way to view wall posts)
