How to set the Facebook Page to private? - Nasrin - 10-15-2012 06:29 PM

Anyone know how I can set the Facebook Pages to private so that only friends can view them? By Facebook Pages I mean the ones where you add or become a fan of someone (eg: musician's pages, etc).

Right now anyone can see what pages I've added. I've checked privacy settings and can't seem to find a setting for this.
Thanks all. I've tried #1 and #2 and still the pages are visible. Anymore suggestions or just not possible??

you can't do that. But you can hide it from everyone except admins

Edit page>Settings>Published (publicly visible)

You can set almost anything to be only friends or only you.

At the top right hand corner click Account->Application Settings->Edit Settings. (The one you are looking for is at Groups) A box will pop up. You can change the privacy there, under the Profile tab. (What other people see when they go to your page.) You can then go to the Additional Permission tab and uncheck Publish to streams.

These steps are some what similar for all the Application Settings.

Now of course, someone could go to a fan page, and stumble upon your name in the list of fans.

But as far as someone trying to find out what pages you are a member of, outside of who you select under privacy, they can't see them on your profile.
