I read online today that Instagram and certain other websites are suffering due to extreme heat that is causing power failures across the US. Wait until tomorrow and try logging on again.

I'm guessing the first response you get is the correct answer. I've been getting the same problem where I can't log into my account and it says the server isn't working! You could always e-mail them on the site or troubleshoot for help.
