How to sell amway products to facebook friends? - Joe68 - 02-24-2014 09:16 PM

recently got into Amway from a friend. Sold some products my immediate family members and close friends. however i would like to try to sell to my facebook friends -- former classmates and coworkers. how should i go about selling these products to these people. people who i know but havent really talked to in a while. i dont like the idea of messaging them out of the blue asking them to buy products from me, looks desperate

Maybe if you had some giveaway, I imagine you don't have the margins to do some sort of sweepstake promoted with paid Facebook ads, which must be administered by a 3rd party.

That seems like too large a leap, going from socializing to Amway sort of products. Too often the biggest customers of those MLM businesses are the actual reps and family you mentioned. Some rely on a large turnover of reps who have used up their immediate connections.

Sorry those sorts of businesses were designed for local community sales, not the internet where reps are falling over each other competing with giant discount retailers in the internet.

First, don't sell them through your personal Facebook. Set up a business FB, and then invite all your friends to like it. Then, post interesting content with your business Facebook, so that they will like/share your posts. Post content about Amway (like that it started in 1952, with one product being mixed in a bathtub) and unrelated (but appropriate) content like humor (lots of Amway humor out there, too), interesting facts in general, to get your friends to share your page. Do this a couple of times a week, and then once or twice a month highlight a specific product or line (like Artistry) and encourage people to contact you to order it, and also mention the other products you carry.
