Pending Notifications (Facebook)? - Jenny - 02-24-2014 09:20 PM

Notifications pending

I made the mistake of "logging in" to my facebook account from the link they provided and didn't realize it until it was too late. They directed me to the "find friends" page, I didn't click on anything, instead I opened a new tab and went directly to facebook.com. I changed my password afterwards but I think maybe it's useless? have I lost my account forever(it's still working so far)? I'm currently checking my computer in case they installed something, I haven't found anything as of yet. so my question is... what should I do? =/
EDIT 1

The "find friends" link started with "http://www.facebook.com/" and then it had numbers and a few letters in it, probably not useful information, but I thought I'd mention it.

EDIT 2

I tried to change my email and recieved a notification from "facebookmail.com" to the new address(the "notifications pending" sender was update+zrdohr6zrz=f@facebookmail.com btw) now, I've checked all my facebook notificaion emails and they all come from the same sender "facebookmail.com" so now I'm confused. should I go ahead and change my email or will they retrieve my new info aswell? should I just forget about it and register a new account? help me please.

" from the link they provided " <- who are "they"? Was the URL Facebook.com or a fake link?

If your account was compromised, try asking Facebook directly to reset your password if needed. Make sure to avoid phishing attacks.
